The Veteran's Memorial was dedicated on Veterans Day, November 11, 2002. It was constructed without any use of government funds or tax monies. Strictly voluntary cash contributions from individuals, businesses, and community organizations built this memorial to our Panola County veterans. A considerable portion of the $200,000 used in the construction was contributed by Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5620. |
